With iOS 26, Apple is rolling out smarter, built-in tools for handling unwanted calls and texts. If you’re a Robokiller user, you still benefit from more powerful spam blocking and deeper customization. The key is understanding how Robokiller’s features work alongside Apple’s updates—so you can get the best of both worlds without confusion.
📞 Silence Unknown Callers
👉 Before (iOS 18 and earlier):
Open Settings → Apps → Phone
Go to Unknown & Spam
Scroll down to Silence Unknown Callers and toggle it on
Return to RoboKiller
👉 Now (iOS 26):
(Available only if your phone’s region is set to the US)
Open Settings → Apps → Phone
Find Screen Unknown Callers
Choose Silence
Return to RoboKiller
✉️ SMS Filtering
👉 Before (iOS 25 and earlier):
Unknown senders were moved into a single “Unknown Senders” tab (if enabled in Settings > Messages > Filter Unknown Senders).
No way to reclassify messages directly from the Messages app.
👉 Now (iOS 26):
Smarter auto-filtering: spammy or silenced texts are kept out of your main inbox.
You can reclassify senders yourself—giving you more control over who lands in your primary conversation list.
