Robokiller doesn’t just protect you from spam calls, it also helps keep your inbox clean by blocking unwanted SMS and MMS messages, including scams, political spam, and texts from unknown senders.

👉 How SMS Spam Protection works

Robokiller filters texts using a three-layer approach:

• Block/Allow List
  If the sender is on your Block List, the message goes straight to your Junk folder.
  If they’re on your Allow List, the message will go through.

• Number Reputation
  If the number isn’t on either list, Robokiller checks it against known spam activity.
  Messages from suspicious numbers are blocked automatically.

• Content Analysis
  Robokiller scans the message for scam-related keywords and patterns.
  Your messages are never stored or shared. Your privacy is always protected.

When flagged as spam, messages are moved to your SMS Junk folder (on iOS) or filtered silently (on Android). You can review junk messages at any time.

👉 How to enable SMS Spam Protection

Android

1. Open your phone's Settings

2. Tap Apps

3. Go to Default apps > SMS app

4. Select Robokiller as your default SMS app

Note: Robokiller must be set as your default messaging app to fully filter spam texts on Android.

Would you prefer to keep Google Messages as your default SMS app? You can still use Robokiller only for Spam Call Blocking. During setup, temporarily set Robokiller as the default SMS app. After setup, switch back to Google Messages (or native Messages app). This change only affects SMS filtering and does not affect call blocking.

👉 To switch back to your Native Android Messages app:

1. Open your phone's Settings
2. Go to Apps & notifications
3. Tap Default apps > SMS app
4. Select Messages

If call blocking doesn't work after completing these steps, reinstall Robokiller and follow the setup instructions again, ensuring you don't skip any steps.

iOS

1. Open the Settings app

2. Tap Messages

3. Tap Unknown & Spam

4. Turn ON Robokiller

Your filtered messages will appear in the SMS Junk folder in the Messages app.

Once enabled, Robokiller automatically detects and blocks spam texts, so your inbox stays focused and free of distractions.
