Robokiller's Personal Data Protection (PDP) feature actively scans and protects against data vulnerabilities caused by data brokers. These are entities that delve deep into your personal information, often selling a vast array of details, such as:

1. Basic Data: This includes identifiers like your name, age, email addresses, phone numbers, location, family connections, gender, educational background, current employer, and even job title.
2. Extended Data: Brokers might even delve into your social media profiles, legal records, marital status, and details about any vehicles you own.

Our collaboration with HelloPrivacy ensures cutting-edge technology safeguarding your data by routinely scanning up to 100 broker sites searching for user data. As soon as you subscribe, opt-out requests kick into action, and every 90 days, we re-initiate scans for enrolled users, ensuring a relentless shield against data exposures. Brokers can be persistent, and if they remove your data once, there's a chance they'll try to collect it again, underscoring the importance of our ongoing monitoring.

Getting started

1. Select Personal data protection from the home screen in the Robokiller app.
2. Enter your first name, last name, and birth year. If you provided an email during setup, it will be automatically filled in but can be edited if needed.
3. Confirm the displayed location or enter your city and state if incorrect.
4. Select Continue to begin a real-time scan.

The scan can take up to 90 seconds to complete, but results will start to populate within a few seconds. You can interact with the scan result cards as the scan continues and purchase the PDP feature before the scan completes. If you'd like to delete your information, you can do so anytime by tapping the clipboard icon.

Navigating the Dashboard
After purchasing the Personal Data Protection feature, you'll be moved to the PDP dashboard. While removals can stretch up to 45 days, we ensure transparency every step of the way. As brokers confirm data removal, the in progress total will decrease, and the removed count will increase. Removed is the total sum of all exposures Robokiller has removed from broker sites during your subscription period.

Your data's sanctity is our top priority, and once a broker confirms data removal, Robokiller purges it immediately, ensuring no remnants remain. After purchasing PDP, another scan will run in 90 days, checking for new exposures.

Robokiller's Personal Data Protection is built for smooth sailing, but occasionally, there might be slight hiccups. Not to worry, we've anticipated them. If a broker's site isn't responsive, tap Unable to complete under the request status on your dashboard. This action cues a pre-crafted email to the broker, ensuring the ball keeps rolling without delays. With Robokiller's PDP, you're always a step ahead!
