To use Answer Bots, your phone carrier must support Conditional Call Forwarding (CCF). This feature sends your busy, unanswered, and unreachable calls to Robokiller so we can screen them.
If Call Forwarding isn’t set up properly, Answer Bots won’t work.
👉 How to enable Answer Bots
-
Open the Robokiller app and go to Settings
-
Tap Answer Bots and toggle the switch ON
-
Pick an Answer Bot from the list or browse by category
If your carrier supports CCF but the option to enable Answer Bots is missing, make sure you’re subscribed to Robokiller Premium+. Answer Bots are available only with this plan.
If your carrier doesn’t support CCF, Answer Bots won’t be available, though Robokiller will still help block unwanted calls.
👉 How to disable Answer Bots?
Yes. From the Home tab in the app, you can toggle Answer Bots off. If you disable them, spam callers will instead hear a default Robokiller message: "This phone is using Robokiller to block unwanted calls."
If you prefer a more subtle option, you can choose a different Answer Bot like:
-
Number Disconnected ("This number has been disconnected")
-
Just Silence (no sound at all)
