Ever wondered how Robokiller knows which calls to block? It's all about our meticulously updated Global Blacklist of spam numbers. This list, refreshed daily, is Robokiller's secret sauce. When a number from this list tries to call you, it's immediately blocked by Robokiller. Robokiller only blocks numbers on this list, not every caller who isn't in your contacts.
On top of that, Robokiller also targets spoofed calls. What are they, you might ask? Caller ID spoofing is a tricky technique used by spammers to make it appear that a call comes from a different number than the originating station. Essentially, these spoofed calls generate fake numbers, and Robokiller is here to stop them in their tracks!
Remember, Robokiller is flexible. If any number is mistakenly blocked, add it to your Safe list through the Settings tab in the app. Or if a specific number or range is bugging you, you can add them to your Blocked list in the app, and they won't bother you again.
With Robokiller, you're always in control. Enjoy a safer, spam-free calling experience!
